Zesta Ice Tea
To reinvent Tea as an attractive beverage, Zesta, Sri Lanka’s premium tea brand by Watawala Tea Ceylon Limited saw an opportunity to tap into the ‘ice tea’ market by introducing a brand new product under the Zesta brand. With the lack of an alternative to ‘café culture’, Zesta Ice Tea is poised to re-ignite that love for tea.
Task
Create a sub-identity and branding of a well-known premium tea brand for the 'iced tea' drinking demographic market
To re-ignite the love for tea, the brand had to open it’s arms to the new youth to make it attractive for this segment of the market that is looking for brands that speak to their core beliefs: vibrant and chic, but rooted in authenticity.
Colour theory
The splash element was customised to give each flavour a unique visual identity, so as to set them apart for shoppers and consumers.
Premium tea brewed and iced to perfection, packaged in attractive reusable glass bottles. These 300ml bottles are pet-sized – can be placed into your pocket or carried around by hand with ease.
